In October 2020 our renowned educational event for Ophthalmologists was held virtually for the first time due to the pandemic restrictions.

Due to the success of this virtual format, we offered this year’s Interdisciplinary Competence Days in the second week of June daily for one hour. The latest developments in ophthalmic imaging for clinical practice from an interdisciplinary viewpoint were presented in a compact format. The faculty covered updates in modern imaging, partnering with specialists in the fields of human genetics, cardiology, diabetology, microbiology as well as neurology to present integral holistic therapeutic approaches. This course was held in German language.
